I was compelled to write this book a few years ago, after volunteering at a nearby church where I mentored a group of 12th grade girls for a year. I came to realize that young women just starting out in the world were an underserved population, for a number of circumstances, after high school and college, many had been left to figure life out on their own. Writing the devotional was a way for me to support a generation of women who need love, compassion, and direction in the form of non-judgment that will inspire them to move into their destiny.
