My name is Toya Malekia Johnson.
I know a number of adult women well into their careers trying to live by faith, who were tired of sitting on the sidelines of life waiting for something to happen. Through my adventurous nature and “student of life” posture, I discovered that at some point, in order to truly be fulfilled as a woman of faith, we need to activate our faith by taking the initiative in the pursuit of our own happiness and self-care.
Writing the devotional is a way for me to support a generation of women who need love, compassion, and direction in the form of non-judgment that will inspire them to move into their destiny.
I am certified in personal development with a focus in Holistic Health & Wellness, which highlights the interconnection between every part of our lives and how it impacts our overall health and wellness.
I’ve hosted workshops throughout the Washington DC area, in 2019 my self-care workshop, Cranez in the Skye was voted as one of the Top 10 Events for Washingtonians to Attend by a popular social media platform. After finishing my first book Hold on To Your Pearls, I’m currently studying the art of self-compassion, traveling, and working on my next book. Be sure to follow me on the Hold on to Your Pearls private Facebook group, where you will receive encouragement and inspiration on your journey!
